A request

My daughter has been down this weekend and goes home later this morning. If it wasn’t for her marks this year I probably would have told her mother to call her in sick tomorrow if only because I don’t feel like being on the road later today. Be that as it may my daughter springs a request on me tonight before bed. She wants to know if I can make her a blog page on my site so she can play with it when she comes down again. Just what I need, more theme design.
Unfortunately her blog probably won’t be about poker. She once was interested in it but she’s outgrown it. She’s in to a more sophisticated game these days, Pokemon. Considering her obsession with it she’s going to want a page that fits. One consolation is that if she’s writing about it I won’t have to listen to her discuss it with me. Being the dutiful dad I am over the last 2 years I have learned more about Pokemon than I would want in a lifetime. Fortunately she likes the video versions she has to my poor attempts at playing the card version. I’ve learned the game but it taxes my feeble mind. I’ll stick with poker. Besides, I’ve learned enough about it to learn my daughter slips me a cold deck when she divides up her cards to allow us to play. Kid’s a mechanic already.
As i’m probably not going to see her again until July I do have some time to play around so we’ll probably see what we can accomplish. Sets other projects for the site back a bit though. Well, we shall see.
